FANGIRLS is a subversive musical comedy about how we ask young women to see themselves,
With a score that sounds like bit like a pop concert, a bit like a rave, and a bit like church.
FANGIRLS premiered in 2019 at Belvoir and Queensland Theatre to five star reviews and standing-room-only crowds. The original production went on to win a slew of awards before touring Australia in 2021, and then returning by demand in 2022 for a season at the Sydney Opera House.
In 2024, a brand new production of FANGIRLS will premiere in London at the Lyric Hammersmith, co-produced by Sonia Friedman Productions.
